John Sobkoviak – Office Manager

John Sobkoviak has served as the Office Manager for First Tee – Colorado Rocky Mountains since the beginning of 2026. From software systems to postage stamps, he supports the organization through a variety of administrative needs.

John was a hurdler on the University of Northern Colorado track team before becoming a high school track coach and eventually a sports performance coach for athletes five to eighteen years old. Later while working in fitness tech, John found himself wanting to pursue more meaningful work and began working with nonprofits on their software. Having experience in sports, tech and with kids, First Tee was a natural fit. What drives him is his passion to facilitate others’ success.

When he is not greeting visitors in the office, John is usually hiking the Rockies with his dog, Pavo. He is an advocate for everyone getting the chance to experience fitness, sports, and the outdoors.
