Brian Lee – Director of Programming

Brian fell in love with the beautiful game of golf a year after moving from Alaska to Nevada at the age of 12. Many long summer days were spent at executive and municipal courses teaching himself the game while enjoying the camaraderie developed with peers and folks of all ages and backgrounds. After high school he had a short stint in college before an injury ended his collegiate future. Following a successful recovery, he played on a couple small professional tours including the Pepsi and Gateway Tours. Brian comes to the First Tee with 20+ years working in the golf industry between NV, AZ & CO. In addition, he organized and ran youth golf instructional and tournament programs here in CO for 6 years. He has also coached high school basketball and golf as well as volunteering at the Boys and Girls Club and YMCA during his younger years. Brian has a strong passion for the valuable life skills that golf – and sports in general – provide beyond the field of play for the overall development of youth.
