Our adaptive golf program provides a welcoming and inclusive environment for young athletes with disabilities to learn and enjoy the game of golf. This class focuses on building fundamental golf skills, confidence, and social connections through patient, expert guidance and personalized instruction.

Program Highlights:

  • Skill Development: Participants will learn all fundamental golf skills involved in putting, chipping and the full golf swing, with instruction tailored to individual needs and abilities.
  • Inclusive Environment: The program fosters a safe space where all abilities are valued, promoting a sense of belonging and camaraderie among all participants.
  • Adaptive Techniques & Equipment: All equipment is provided. Instructors trained in adaptive techniques will have specialized equipment available, such as teeing devices and grip aids, and they are trained to modify rules or activities to ensure accessibility and success for all junior athletes.
  • On-Course Experience: The curriculum includes a combination of driving range, putting green, and on-course Par-3 play experiences, allowing athletes to apply their skills to all the components of the course.
  • Life Skills Integration: Beyond golf techniques, First Tee incorporates essential life skills, such as honesty, respect, and perseverance, to help participants build confidence and achieve personal growth.

Who It’s For:
This program is designed for junior athletes (Ages 7-18) with disabilities that may affect the participant’s mobility, sensory perception, cognitive function or physical structure. All skill levels are welcome, from those entirely new to the sport to those looking to refine their existing golf skills.
